Our Opinion

The Springfield Armory Loaded 1911 is a fantastic pistol.  It has every feature a majority of users could ever want or need on a 1911.

The cost is extremely reasonable for the features included, and Springfield is now making a variety of models in the loaded range with different features including light rails, different finishes, and a lightweight option.

If you are looking for a high-end style pistol without the high-end price, the Loaded 1911 is definitely worth your time.

Other Options Worth Looking At

The CenterPoint Sniper 370 is a great crossbow for the money. But, it’s probably not for everyone who should look at others here.

Some buyers may want power, less weight, or a more countered stock.

Barnett Whitetail Hunter

Anyone shopping for a hunting crossbow in this price range should seriously consider the Barnett Whitetail Hunter. The Whitetail Hunter is lightweight at just over six pounds and puts out plenty of power with arrow speeds of up to 380 feet per second and kinetic energy of over 120 foot pounds.

Barnett Recruit

Another solid option in this price range—also from Barnett—is the Recruit. The Recruit is a little less powerful than the Sniper 370 but comes in a slightly more compact form factor. It’s lighter and the stock is shorter and more compact, making it a good fit for smaller shooters.

But—despite the competition—the CenterPoint Sniper 370 is still a great option for anyone looking for a high performing, reasonably priced crossbow.
